Certified in Cybersecurity – get the badge from ISC2.org for free (limited time)

As part of our commitment to building a more robust, resilient and diverse cybersecurity workforce, ISC2 is offering FREE Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) Online Self-Paced Training and exams to one million people. Source: ISC2

The CC is an entry level cybersecurity certification.

What does this mean for me? How can I join for the free training and exam?

• Create an account or sign in to isc2.org
• Don’t use a mobile device – there are some popups that you can not close on handhelds
• Complete the candidate application form and select Certified in Cybersecurity as your certification
• You gain access to the self paced training
• After training you can apply for the free certification exam
• Upon passing the exam you have to pay the Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF) – 50$

To keep the certification you need to earn 45 CPE points within the next 3 years – so keep on learning 🙂
